Passion Fruit Frozen Custard

I first tasted passion fruit ice cream 3 years ago in Paris and just fell in love with it. A couple months after returning I got a craving for it and decided to track down a recipe, I found just the right one in Ultimate Ice Cream . Really great flavor, consistency, just like […]

Thin Mint Cheesecake

Peanut Butter Brownie Chunk Cheesecake with Chocolate Ganache

Where do you find inspiration? Sometimes it’s just sitting there waiting for you to see it. I wanted to make a new cheesecake and was trying to come up with ideas for ideas, after the mango-saffron I was having trouble coming up with ideas. Standing at my baking island, I opened […]

Mango Saffron Cheesecake

This was the most experimental cheesecake of them all. I decided I wanted to make a mango flavored cheesecake and as I was cooking the mango I realized the color wasn’t as mango-ey as I wanted … not wanting to use food coloring (and not having any on hand) I dropped in some saffron […]

Vanilla Cheesecake with Chocolate Sauce

This is the one that started it all with the cheesecakes. It began it’s life as as a plain cheesecake recipe stolen borrowed from Martha Stewart. I made some variations and settled on this as being the best, all the other flavors that I make came from this base.
